Thank you for visiting Water for Life, Inc. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and promoting agricultural water rights while advocating responsible stewardship of the land.

Everyone knows that water is critical to nourishing and fostering life. No matter who you are, where you live or what you do, water is vital to your existence. That is why sound management of our water resources is imperative. Indeed, no issue in recent years has captured the attention of the natural resource community as fully as the debates surrounding water policies and management practices.

Agricultural communities are particularly influenced by water policy. Farmers, ranchers and other agricultural producers depend on water rights, not only for their own livelihoods, but to produce food and nourishment for others. Truly, water is the very lifeblood of agriculture. This is why at Water for Life, Inc., our focus is specifically on promoting the agricultural community's interests in the valuable water resource.

As a result, our mission is a focused one: To protect and promote agricultural water rights while advocating responsible stewardship of the land.

A Word on Our Website

This website is a work in progress. We will continue to make improvements and add features as the resources to do so become available. Our goal is to see this site become a comprehensive source of water right information, including: pending legislation, rules and policies; dates of scheduled committee hearings on pertinent issues; specific project information, water-right related news articles and press releases, our quarterly newsletter, “Return Flows,” as well as a calendar of upcoming Water for Life events and a photo gallery.
